            Justice K.B.K.VASUKI was born on 09.09.1953 at Kodumudi, Erode District. She is the niece of renowned singer and actor Padmashree K.B.Sundarambal. She studied upto the standard at Sri Sankara Vidyasala High School, Kodumudi and thereafter completed her school studies at Sri Sankara Vidyasala Girls High School, Kodumudi.

              Justice Vasuki underwent graduation at PSG Krishnammal College for Women, Coimbatore and completed her law course at Law College, Madras. During 1979 to 1986, she practised in High Court as Junior Advocate under the guidance of Senior counsel Thiru. R.Gandhi, who is former President, High Court Advocates Association and Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry Bar Federation.

            During 1986, Justice Vasuki was selected and appointed as District Munsif and she is the only lady out of 56 appointees and she served as District Munsif at Poonamallee and thereafter at Karur. In 1991, she was promoted as Sub Judge and posted initially at Coimbatore and thereafter at Salem. In 1998, she was again promoted to the cadre of District Judge and served as Additional District Judge, Salem and Coimbatore. Thereafter, she was holding various posts as Labour Judge, Coimbatore, Chief Judicial Magistrate, Coimbatore, Family court Judge, Madurai and Principal District Judge, Namakkal, Nagapattinam and Thiruvarur. She also served in State Transport Appellate Tribunal, Chennai and as Chief Judge, Court of Small Causes, Chennai. She was appointed and posted as Registrar (Vigilance), High Court, Madras till her elevation to the post of Additional Judge, High Court, Madras on 17.02.2010.

               Now, Justice Vasuki is adorning the Bench of High Court Madras, for the last five years and has disposed of number of cases with many land mark judgments both on civil and criminal sides.
