  • Before 1910

    A School started by Thiru.K.S.Narayana Iyer of Kodumudi on the pial of his house for children.

  • 1911

    The first meeting was held by K.S.Narayana Iyer and Mulanoor Muthusamy Gounder as Board of Trustees

  • 1922

    The first batch of SSLC students passed out.

  • 1966

    Under the Board a separate S.S.V girls High School was Started

  • 1978

    S.S.V upgraded as S.S.V Higher secondary school Where in co-education is being conducted for 11th and 12th classes alone.

  • 1979

    S.S.V Nursery and Primary Schools were started at Kodumudi

  • 1986

    S.S.V Nursery and primary school was started at sivagiri.

  • 1989

    S.S.V Nursery and primary school, Sivagiri was Upgraded as Matriculation school.

  • 1990

    S.S.V Nursery and primary school was started at Kolanalli.

  • 2015

    All these buildings are posing dangerous situation to the students. More over as per the present Government Norms, all the buildings must only be terraced and no tiled roof buildings are allowed to function. This year itself we obtained continue recognition for running the school, only on promise that we will construct new terraced building within a year.A resolution is passed to construct a new building.A temporary building is constructed to run the school at present.

Before 1910 – A School started by Thiru.K.S.Narayana Iyer of Kodumudi on the pial of his house for children.
1910 – Thiru. Mulanoor Muthusamy Gounder joined hands with K.S.Narayana Iyer to develop the School at Kodumudi
06.05.1910 – Thiru.K.S.Narayana Iyer donated his house at East Agraharam to Sri Sankara Vidya Sala Board.Thiru. Mulanoor Muthusamy Gounder donated Nanjai acres1.36 and a terased house and 3 shops to Sri Sankara Vidya Sala Board.
16.05.1910 – Started the minute book
01.01.1911 – The first meeting was held by K.S.Narayana Iyer and Mulanoor Muthusamy Gounder as Board of Trustees
13.03.1914 – Board was registered under central societies Registration Act as “Kodumudi Sri Sankara Vidya Sala Board”
30.01.1917 – Thiru.C.Periasami Gounder and 30 others were inducted as members of the Board
12.12.1918 – Thiru.Perianna Chettiar, a wealthy money Lender at Kodumudi donated 4.76 nanjai acres to the S.S.V Board Kodumudi and he was selected as the Member of the board and then as Vice – president
24.04.1920 – Thiru.Perianna chettiar elected as President and Continued in that post till his death in 1932
1922 – The first batch of SSLC students passed out.
23.04.1926 – Tru.Perianna chettiar executed a settlement deed whereby he donated his entire immovable properties to an extent of 8.26 acres of wet land and 35.58 acres of land at Sivagiri.
1966 – Under the Board a separate S.S.V girls High School was Started
1978 – S.S.V High School was upgraded as S.S.V Higher secondary school where in co-education is being conducted for 11th and 12th classes.
1979 – S.S.V Nursery and Primary Schools were started at Kodumudi
1986 – S.S.V Nursery and primary school was started at sivagiri.
1989 – S.S.V Nursery and primary school, Sivagiri was Upgraded as Matriculation school.
1990 – S.S.V Nursery and primary school was started at Kolanalli.
31.12.1991 – Mrs. Leelavathi of Kosakhatur donated the board on extent of acre 0.97 Mrs.K.S.P.Meenakshiammal wife of K.S.Periasamy Gounder of Kuttapalayam donated an extent of acres 9.98 in punjai Kolanalli villageThiru.C.G. Swamynathan of Kodumudi donated to the Board as extent of total acres 2.00acres
1994 – S.S.V Matriculation school at Sivagiri was upgraded as Matriculation Higher Secondary school.
2015 – All the buildings of S.S.V Higher Secondary School at Kodumudi were posing dangerous situation to the students.
